How will I receive my recorded lesson? +
Recordings are uploaded to a private link — either Google Drive or an unlisted YouTube video — after each session. The link is shared with you directly for your review and practice.
What equipment do I need? +
You'll need a piano or keyboard (5–8 octaves recommended), a reliable internet connection, a smartphone with a stand positioned to show your playing, and a laptop with a camera and microphone.
Do you accept children? +
Yes — we welcome students from age 5 and above. Lessons for younger students are structured to be fun, engaging, and age-appropriate, building a lifelong love for music.
What if I need to reschedule? +
Please provide at least 12 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel. Lessons can be rescheduled within 7 days of the original booking. No-shows are non-refundable. See our Terms & Policies for full details.
Can you prepare me for performances or church leading? +
Absolutely. We offer dedicated performance coaching and worship preparation packages, covering stage confidence, mock performances with recorded feedback, and tailored preparation for recitals, auditions, and church services.
How do I pay for lessons? +
All lesson fees are paid 4 weeks in advance at the start of each 4-week period. We accept PayPal and Zelle at . Payment is required before your first lesson of each period.
What platform do lessons take place on? +
Lessons are conducted online via Zoom or Zoho. You'll need your laptop to view lesson materials and a smartphone on a stand so your instructor can see your piano and posture during the session.
Are lessons available worldwide? +
Yes — SixthKey Sound is fully online, meaning students from anywhere in the world can join. We currently schedule lessons in US Eastern Time. Please reach out to confirm availability in your time zone.
